Family Fun Day

We decided to have a day at the Arizona Science Center to kick off Earth Day 2010. While we couldnt all get together on the actual "Earth Day", we decided to celebrate it Sunday. We had so much fun and Gracie was fun to watch. This place is pretty darn cool, but I think next time we are going to try the Children's Museum of Phoenix. We havent set a date yet, so if anyone is going or wants to go, let us know! All in all it was a fun weekend and I cant wait for Summer.

Hoppy Easter!

We had such a great Easter Sunday. We went to my parents house for brunch and then had a grand ol' time hunting for Easter Eggs! Gracie sure did have fun looking for them and was especially surprised with the really big ones. She also found some special eggs that were filled with glitter. She threw every one in front of the house and loved watching the glitter go everywhere. It was a very quiet and relaxing Easter even though my mom and Megan both worked today, but it was still nice to be able to see them when we did! Gracie is now enjoying all of the candy from her eggies and I'm sure a lot of brushing of her teeth will be tonight. We see Dr. Brenke in 2 weeks! We dont want cavities ;)  

Happy Birthday to my "Fool"

It's no joke. On our first date Bobby and I were talking about what we did, where we went to school, what we wanted out of life... you know, stuff you talk about when you are on a first date. A honest question was asked, answer given. We were at Chilis and I kept thinking to myself, "Wow! What a funny and handsome guy...." As each date passed we both grew more and more in love. Quick. Before I knew it, I had fallen head over heels for this big teddy bear. He made me happy and excited about life and all its possibilities. The butterflies have still not left my stomach and my cheeks still turn a shade of pink when he compliments me. 8 years have gone by and I still can think back to that date at Chilis, what we ate and what we talked about. The moment I knew I was going to be looking into that face for the rest of my life. The moment he looked at me and said, "My Birthday is April 1st, April Fools Day". Sold. :)

Happy Birthday to an amazing husband and wonderful daddy. You make mine and Gracie's lives a fun ride. To the AMAZING friend you are to everyone you meet.
