Heal with Love

A lot has happened since our last blog post. Thank you all for your concerns and prayers. We are going to be ok. Our family will be ok. Bobby and I are ready to move forward on this new path and we will be keeping on it. Church, therapy, prayers and good family and friends will make sure the 3 of us will never lose faith again.

Weave in faith and God will find the thread. ~Author Unknown

Hope is like a road in the country; there was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence. ~ Lin Yutang

Love, like a river, will cut a new path whenever it meets an obstacle. ~Crystal Middlemas

Please keep our family in your prayers as Bobby, Gracie and myself start anew.

Can it be? Gracie is THREE!!!

At 8:16 AM, on Thursday, February 16, 2006, the most AMAZING thing happened in mine and Bobby's life. Grace Katherine was born. Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the day that changed our lives forever. She is the princess we fought so hard to have and she was oh so worth that battle. This morning when I looked into that sweet, precious face of my daughter, I am amazed at how completely blessed I am. She makes each day more interesting. She grows and lets us be witness to each discovery she makes. We love her so.
Happy Birthday my little one.
Today we did the tradtional birthday ritual. We went to the Phoenix Zoo and then went to dinner at Macayo's. We had so much fun. Please enjoy a day in the life of Princess Grace. And yes, we MUST wear the tiara to the zoo. Dont you?

What's new?

Gracie is growing and becoming such a little lady. Can you believe she will be 3 on the 16th? She is our little princess and everything we could have hoped for and more. Life is getting to be so much fun as each month passes with her. She is enjoying her school and her friends, she loves dance class and walks around saying, "plie" or "posse" and doing their respective movements all the time, she enjoys quiet time with a good book and she loves to "go out" to eat.
She is very much our "Amazing Grace".

Anyone else excited for this CD to arrive in stores??? I CAN NOT wait for 2-3-2009.
My favorite song right now has to be You Found Me. Here are the lyrics:
You Found Me
I found God on the corner of First and Amistad
Where the west was all but won
All alone smoking His last cigarette
I said where You been, He said ask anything
Where were You when everything was falling apart
All my days were spent by a telephone
That never rang and all I needed was a call
That never came to the corner of First and Amistad
Lost and insecure, You found me, You found me
Lying on the floor, surrounded, surrounded
Why'd You have to wait, where were You, where were You
Just a little late, You found me, You found me

In the end everyone ends up alone
Losing her, the only one who's ever knownWho I am who I'm not and who I want to be
No way to know how long she will be next to me
Lost and insecure, You found me, You found meLying on the floor, surrounded, surrounded
Why'd You have to wait, where were You, where were You
Just a little late, You found me, You found me
Early morning the city breaks and I've been calling for years and years
You never left me no messages, You never send me no letters
You got some kind of nerve taking all I want
Lost and insecure, You found me, You found me
Lying on the floor, where were You, where were You
Lost and insecure, You found me, You found me
Lying on the floor, surrounded, surrounded
Why'd You have to wait, where were You, where were You
Just a little late, You found me, You found me
Why'd You have to wait to find me, to find me
